Grant Maurer
Southeast PA Organizer
A native of West Chester, Grant first got involved with the gun violence prevention movement while in high school. He continued to work in politics because he believes that when someone sees an issue they can help with, they have a moral duty to act and help others. For Grant, gun safety is that issue, and he believes that the young generation that has been ripped apart by gun violence will play a crucial role in ending this uniquely American epidemic. After organizing for March For Our Lives in West Chester, he went on to study at Shippensburg University, receiving a degree in political science, and conducting research on firearm safety legislation as a part of the Political Science Department. He has now moved back to his hometown of West Chester and is staunchly devoted to ending gun violence in Delaware and Chester County.
In his free time, Grant plays Ultimate Frisbee, board games, and avidly consumes science fiction.
