PA Health Professionals to End Gun Violence

PA Health Professionals to End Gun Violence

Public health and healthcare professionals not only deal with the impacts of gun violence at a patient and population-level – they also personally confront the threat, with American healthcare workers facing more workplace violence than personnel in any other field, including law enforcement. Gun violence is a public health crisis and the public health community has a critical role to play and a powerful voice to make heard in pushing for a world where we can all live free from gun violence.
