Earlier this week — just after our amazing rally to expand background checks — we got word that the gun lobby was working on a dangerous plan to completely undermine public safety by eliminating the PA Background Check System.
But we didn’t panic, we made a plan. We engaged supporters to email judiciary committee members and we worked with partners — including law enforcement — to let legislators know just how dangerous this bill is.
We have good news: we just got word the judiciary committee has cancelled the hearing on this bill. We aren’t sure this is permanent, so we’ll remain on alert and hope you’ll stand ready to Protect PICS!
