Director of Development

Becky Wainwright is the Director of Development for CeaseFirePA. She is excited to combine her experience in philanthropy with making our communities safer. As a mom of three school-aged children, she is passionate about ensuring the health and safety of every child in Pennsylvania through life-saving legislation. One of the highlights of her past year was participating in CeaseFirePA’s Advocacy Day and being a tangible part of the movement to end gun violence. Becky has 13 years of fundraising experience, most recently with a education-focused nonprofit serving underprivileged children in India through world-class academies and STEM Centers. Raised on a dairy farm in Indiana County, she is a Pitt alum, and now lives near Philadelphia. When she isn’t fundraising, Becky enjoys cooking, yoga, and traveling with her family.
