According to a new poll from the Center for Opinion Research at Franklin & Marshall College 88% of Pennsylvanians favor a federal law requiring background checks on all potential gun buyers, including those who purchase guns at shows or online.
While it’s encouraging to see so many Pennsylvanians take this stance, in order to see this position become a reality we have to act! PA House Bill 1010, and Senate Bill 1049 would close the loophole that allows the private sale of long guns in PA without a background check. So, contact your State Representative and your State Senator to make sure that they’ve signed on to sponsor H.B.1010 or S.B.1049, and let’s give an overwhelming majority of Pennsylvanians what they want!
