Yesterday Senator Pat Toomey disappointed Pennsylvanians by voting to confirm Lawrence Vandyke to the United States 9th circuit court.
Despite recent polling that showed Pennsylvanian voters overwhelming support stronger gun laws, Senator Toomey sided with the NRA by confirming a lifetime judicial appointment to someone who called all gun control laws “misguided.”
Van Dyke’s allegiance to the gun lobby’s agenda puts gun safety measures in grave danger.
Senator Toomey will once again have to explain to Pennsylvanian voters why he values the gun lobby over public safety.
